Hi, I'm Dr. Elizabeth Burke, PT, but you can call me Beth. Since I started practicing physical therapy in 2006, there have been many changes in healthcare that are adversely affecting the delivery of physical therapy services. This is what inspired me to start Focus Physical Therapy. I want to empower you to take control of your own healthcare so you can ultimately focus on what matters most to YOU! With more options you can feel better, move better, and do all the activities you love. Before I go more into what inspired that, let me share a little bit about myself.
I graduated from James Madison University and then completed my Doctor of Physical Therapy at Virginia Commonwealth University. I worked in Richmond, VA, at an outpatient physical therapy clinic, primarily treating orthopedic conditions. During my time there, I noticed a connection between patients who had prolonged mobility limitations and an impaired vestibular system, adversely affecting their spacial awareness and balance. I developed a Fall Prevention and Vestibular Rehab program and began incorporating these techniques to improve my patients' stability and quality of life. In 2014, I moved to Arizona and continue to care for patients with orthopedic needs, vestibular conditions, and integrating the two specialties when needed.
When I'm not working with patients, I love time with my family and my redbone coonhound, Max. I also enjoy yoga, hiking, cooking, teaching volunteer balance classes, and dance parties with my young sons.

Jamie, a dedicated physical therapist, earned her Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences and Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from the University of Hartford in Connecticut. In 2021, she relocated to Arizona with her husband, embracing the sunny weather and vibrant change of scenery. Specializing in orthopedics, Jamie also has expertise in treating temporomandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunction and Bell’s palsy, and she is certified in dry needling.
Her passion for physical therapy stems from her background in gymnastics, which ignited a lifelong fascination with movement as medicine. Jamie’s integrative, full-body treatment philosophy emphasizes the mind-body connection, incorporating nutrition, movement, and healthy habits to foster long-term strength and recovery. With extensive experience, she enjoys working with individuals of all ages and activity levels, particularly focusing on teaching proper body mechanics and sustainable ways to incorporate movement into daily life.
Outside the clinic, Jamie loves working out, reading, baking, and spending quality time with her husband and their French bulldog, Louie.
